About us
Sowa is a place where learning is calm, attentive and effective. Since 2014, we have been helping children and adults reach their goals — at school, in exams and in a new country.
Our story
We started out as a small group of maths and language teachers who believed that anyone can understand difficult material if it’s explained patiently and in plain, human terms.
Over time we were joined by English teachers and teachers of Polish as a foreign language. Today our students come from more than a dozen countries, and we teach in four languages.
In Polish, Ukrainian and Russian alike, “sowa” means “owl” — the wise bird that sees more than others. That’s what we want to be for our students.

Our centre is right in the heart of Warsaw, just a few minutes from the metro. We also welcome students to online lessons from anywhere in the world.
